McBlair papers
The McBlair Papers primarily relate to Michael McBlair (1775-1861), Baltimore merchant and customs official. Dates covered in the collection range from 1797 to 1849 with the bulk of the material falling between 1820 to 1848. Approximatly 3,000 items in seven boxes are contained in the collection.

Paul Bentalou journal
108 photostats, each containing 2 pages of journal of Paul Bentalou, Baltimore merchant. Account of trades in general merchandise in North and South America, West Indies, Europe. Transactions are entered in full detail, narrative form. Occasional references to national and international politics, and to slave trade, immigration from South America, etc.
Ridgely papers
This collection mainly concerns John Ridgely of Hampton (1851-1938), a gentleman farmer; Charles W. Humrichouse (d.1903), Baltimore sugar merchant; James Walker Humrichouse (1849-1927), medical doctor; and William Hawken, father-in-law of Charles W. Humrichouse. The materials in this collection include account ledgers, receipts and checks, and miscellaneous letters.

This collection contains the records of the Rieman businesses in Baltimore. There are 27 volumes of ledgers, cash books, journals, and day books covering the period 1807-1905.

Indexed 1799-1818 letters, in German script, referring to tobacco trade between Baltimore and Bremen, coffee trade with Cuba, and general merchandizing.
